Backwoods does not perform honey-bee removal or relocation. If the insects are honey bees, we refer that work to a beekeeper or other appropriate specialist. If you are unsure whether you have honey bees or wasps, contact us with a description or photo so we can help direct the inquiry.

What should I do if I find a nest?
Keep people and pets away from the area and avoid disturbing the nest. Tell us where you see activity, including any ground opening, roofline, shed, or doorway. We can discuss the appropriate next step and whether an on-site assessment is needed.
Does Backwoods remove honey bees?
No. We refer honey-bee removal and relocation to a beekeeper or other appropriate specialist. If the insect is uncertain, send us a description or photo and we will help route the inquiry.
How do you account for children and pets?
Tell us how the area is used. We explain the proposed method, product label directions, where treatment will occur, and any time people or pets must stay away. No pesticide is universally risk-free, so follow the instructions for the specific service.
What will wasp or yellowjacket treatment cost?
Cost depends on the species, nest location, access, and agreed work. We explain the quoted scope and any follow-up terms before service. Any inspection fee will be explained before the visit.
Can I remove the nest myself?
Disturbing a nest can lead to multiple stings. Avoid attempting removal if the nest is active, difficult to reach, or close to areas people use. If anyone has a severe reaction to a sting, seek medical help promptly.

How often will you treat my Spokane home or business for rodents?Visit timing follows rodent activity and your written agreement. For Sentinel, we begin with equipment setup and an included follow-up approximately 30 days later. Active rodent control may require more frequent visits; ongoing maintenance follows the agreed schedule. Monthly program payments do not mean a technician visits every month. We explain whether a requested extra visit is included or separately quoted before scheduling it.

We have struggled with earwigs in our home and snakes in our yard, even coming into our garage.
